Foggy Sunset at Seneca Rocks, West Virginia
I’d always seen pics from Seneca Rock and had been close quite a few times but on a weekend trip to film a wedding in NYC I made the concerted effort to make it. Rain was in the forecast and I was pushing it to drive all the way from home in time before sunset. I made a quick Sheets pit stop once in VA for a beloved Peanut Butter Shake (if you haven’t had one, next time your in Virginia, get one). I made it to the parking lot as the rain was moving out. It had been flooding there and the humidity was nearly 100%. I made the roughly 1 mile trek to the top and WOW, I hit it for an almost perfect sunset. The Seneca rocks create a spine of rock sticking out of the mountain creating an amazing spot to fly my drone.
